I draw lines, not illustrations.
Not symbols or statements. Just hand-drawn lines,
one after another, until something interesting emerges.
I am Kesava. I draw lines to silence my mind.
There is no studio, no manifesto. There is a pen, a surface,
and the slow accumulation of marks that eventually
become something one cannot stop looking at.
The patterns do not represent anything. Or need to.
A mandala does not need to be understood;
it needs to be seen and felt.
Every piece begins in silence, with a single line.
Where it goes from there is between the pen and the paper.
Does the artist even matter, when life is in motion?
What you see when you arrive is yours alone.
